Seeking Casual School Bus Drivers

We are seeking multiple casual school bus drivers to support student transport across all Ivanhoe Grammar School campuses. These roles involve driving school minibuses to transport students between campuses for co‑curricular activities and sporting programs, as well as to external venues as required.

Shifts are typically available from 3.30pm to approximately 7.00pm with Saturday morning (7am – 12noon) availability required to support co‑curricular and sporting activities.

These roles play an important part in ensuring students can safely and reliably participate in the School’s co‑curricular and sporting programs across campuses.

If you enjoy flexible casual work, have experience driving minibuses and bring a friendly, professional approach, we would love to hear from you.

What you will do  
As a key member of the Professional Services team, reporting to the Head of Sport, you will support student transport across all Ivanhoe Grammar School campuses:

In this role, you will:

  • Safely transport students between Ivanhoe Grammar School campuses for co‑curricular and sporting activities
  • Drive students to and from external sporting and activity venues as required
  • Operate school vehicles in accordance with road laws, school policies and safety guidelines
  • Create a friendly and welcoming environment for students during travel
  • Work closely with school staff to support daily activity and sport requirements
  • Be available to take on additional shifts, including at short notice

Who you are 
You are reliable, approachable and safety‑focused, with the ability to engage positively with students and staff. You will bring:

You bring the following experience and skills:

  • A valid Driver’s Licence
  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Previous experience in a similar driving role (highly regarded)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible, can‑do attitude
  • First aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain and maintain
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, child safety and wellbeing
