Who you are
You are a reflective and purposeful educator who believes that learning and character are inseparable. You recognise the potential in every young person and understand that high expectations, strong relationships, and compassionate support create the conditions for students to thrive. You model the Ivanhoe Learner attributes – courageous, balanced, innovative, collaborative, ethical, reflective and compassionate – and you strive to bring them to life in your practice.
You bring:
- Teaching experience within a school setting, with relevant qualifications and expertise in supporting diverse learners; postgraduate study in Special Education, Curriculum or Pedagogy is desirable
- The ability to design and deliver targeted learning support using data, professional judgement and evidence-informed practice
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build trust, collaborate effectively and engage confidently with students, staff and families
