Seeking Multiple Casual Music Tutors
Due to substantial growth in the program, we are seeking multiple casual instrumental music tutors to join our creative and passionate Music team at the Ridgeway Campus. Tutors will provide individual tuition, support ensembles, and the Year 7 music program for 2026.
We are seeking the following:
- Cello
- Flute
- Saxophone
- Trumpet
- Voice

What you will do
As a key member of the Professional Services team, reporting to the Director of Music and Coordinator of Music Performance, you will:
- Provide high-quality tuition to students across beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach practical techniques, music theory, and aural skills, and prepare students for exams, concerts, and performances.
- Contribute to ensembles, school events, and the wider Music program.
- Build professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Inspire and cultivate a positive, collaborative learning culture.
Who you are
You are a skilled and passionate musician, committed to fostering a love of music in young people of character. You bring initiative, reliability, and professionalism to your teaching.
You have the necessary experience, knowledge and skills:
- Proficiency in teaching your instrument(s) across a range of levels.
- Experience leading or supporting instrumental ensembles.
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration or Working with Children Check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for student learning and professional development.
