  • build strong relationships with students, families and external partners
  • contribute to representative sport, sport tours and house sport
  • represent the school at key AGSV/APS and external forums

Who you are
You are a calm, capable and highly organised leader who thrives on collaboration and consistency. You bring energy and clarity to dynamic environments and take pride in creating the conditions for others to succeed. You believe that sport is a powerful context for learning and connection. You understand that strong systems, respectful relationships and visible leadership are essential to building a culture of character and performance for both students and staff.

You have the necessary experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Experience teaching in schools, with relevant qualifications (postgraduate study in sport management or leadership valued)
  • strong understanding of adolescent development, wellbeing and the role of sport in student growth
  • demonstrated knowledge of child safety, compliance and duty of care
  • outstanding organisation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • ability to lead teams, foster community and collaborate in a cross-campus setting
  • practical expertise in coaching theory, program delivery and digital coordination tools

What we offer you

  • An exciting leadership position at a respected, forward-thinking independent school.
  • the opportunity to shape a flagship sport program engaging over 2,000 students.
  • an innovative, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • tailored professional development and executive coaching.
  • beautiful physical spaces, with state-of-the-art facilities designed for collaboration, community and fit-for-purpose learning and engagement.
  • salary packaging, discounted health insurance, reduced school fees and other employee benefits.
  • access to facilities including on-site parking, café, gym and pool.
